Denver Modernism Week, LLC
In the midst of a quarantine, the effects of good residential design have never been more impactful. In this virtual session, join architects and designers for a virtual tour of great examples of mid-century modern multifamily design in the Denver area, the concepts and theories behind the buildings, and why these unassuming structures are examples of high design.
How do modernist multifamily communities promote healthy living, and how we can implement those same ideas and strategies in new construction today? We’ll discuss that and more during an in-depth home tour at Denver’s Wellshire Arms followed by an interactive Q&A.
Net proceeds from all Denver Modernism Week 2020 presentations will benefit the newly formed Colorado chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects, NOMA 5280.
This is a guided VIRTUAL tour, which will be held on a webinar platform over the internet, in order to encourage social distancing. This virtual platform offers an opportunity to bring this tour to modernism fans across the country, and allows for a bigger crowd than the guide could typically handle in-person!. There will be an opportunity to ask questions in a Q&A session after the talk is complete.
You will receive an email with a link for joining the talk 24-36 hours before it is scheduled to begin. We encourage you to come online for the talk 10-15 minutes in advance of the scheduled start time to ensure that your device and internet connection are working properly, and so that we can verify your ticket before joining the talk.
