About the Homes

These seven mid-mod ranch homes in Denver’s Southmoor were originally built for “empty nesters” wanting to live the life of luxury. Owners have their own slice of Palm Springs right here in Denver, Colorado. The builder, Seymour Fortner, owned a winter home in Rancho Mirage, CA, and wanted to bring the elegant “Rat-Pack” feeling back to Denver. These 7 (as originally built) identical homes were modeled after Seymour’s home in CA, and have all the hallmarks of the high-design modernist ideas: sunken living rooms, floor to ceiling windows facing the back yard, many sliding glass doors for indoor-outdoor living, large patios, wide hallways, large rooms, mini-courtyards, and elegant marble.
